In addition to the technical demonstrations the Centre has modern interactive training equipment with audio-visual technologies and personal computers.

The instructors can use a range of media within the courses to provide stimulating teaching for both trainees and instructors. This style of teaching minimises traditional lecturing, which can be found dull and tiring.

The computers in the classroom can be operated as stand-alone machines or as slaves to the instructor's computer which also provides the main station for the Building Energy Management System. There is also access to the Internet for further research on savings opportunities.
